"Outside My Window" by Janet Buckingham

Janet's watercolor/ink paintings are inspired by living, loving and exploring the red rock country and national parks of Southeastern Utah for 30 years. Originally a pastel artist, Janet transitioned into watercolor while living in the rain forest of Kodiak Island, Alaska. Returning home to Moab and the desert, she stayed with the medium. Her works usually begin with a pencil sketch, followed by watercolor, applying ink as a last step. Janet was Artist in the Park for Arches and Canyonlands national parks in 2018.
