Paper Pulp Shadow Box

This is a two part workshop, the first class will be held from 6-8pm on November 12 and the second class will be November 19 from 6-8pm.

Workshop Description:

Design, construct, and decorate a wall hanging shadow box made with cardboard and paper pulp. These wall altars can hold your jewelry, art, crystals, stones, spiritual offerings, etc. On the first day participants will create the shape and form of the hanging wall art. Learn to mix paper pulp and plaster to create a strong, sculptable material that we will apply to the cardboard surface. Bring any special beads or shells that you would like to embed in the shadow box!  In the second class, once the sculpted shelf has dried, students can paint and seal their works of art.
