Desert Beauty in Watercolor

What comes to mind when you hear the word “Desert?” Perhaps you may describe the desert as extreme, flat, boring, dry/arid, uninteresting, or even ugly. Have you ever thought of yourself in a similar way? During this watercolor class, you will learn that each of us is uniquely beautiful, just like the desert. We just need to be a little courageous and tap into and awaken our creative selves.

Each week, I hope you will learn something new about painting with watercolors, the desert, and even you. The only expectations for class participation are to be Respectful, Open, and have Fun!

About the Instructor: AJ is the Founder of Heart2Pen. She applies her Master Transformational Life Coach certification to help better others. Ms. Myers hands-on involvement with her community includes the position as Youth Prevention Coordinator to foster and teach healthy relationships of all types. She loves helping people succeed through written words utilizing Emotional Intelligence and NLP Skills. For her accomplishments in the field, Ms. Myers received an Aloha Award for outstanding customer service given to the public, Outstanding Safety Recognition, and was named as the Business Woman of the Year and Best Employee. She has spent much of her time with organizations fighting world hunger and AIDs in Africa. Civically, she has offered her time as a mentor for at risk-children. Looking towards the future, Ms. Myers aspires to continue working and helping others to achieve their best. It is in the success of others that she measures her personal success. Balance between outdoor activities such as hiking, hunting, gardening, scuba-diving, and windsurfing vs her indoor cooking/baking, painting in various mediums, and watching inspiring movies, keep AJ centered. Her authored works on rising after falling and leading by example: A Journey of Riches-Abundant Living and Messages from the Heart skyrocketed to #1 Best Selling books on the International market. Global publications feature AJ’s inspiring works. The Manuscript for Book 1 of 4 of her novel series is anticipated to be published while she continues with the sequels. She is looking forward to Life in Poetry being released.
