ArtWalk Gallery Show
Moonflower
I’m a 78 year-old kid with pencils, crayons and a blank piece of paper and a voice in my ear that urges me to “scribble, scribble, scribble.”
We’re happy for the opportunity to participate in this ArtWalk. We hope you will enjoy the displayed pieces which show the evolution in my creative journey from controlled black and white digital efforts to the spontaneous response of fluid alcohol inks.
Along the way my muse led me to watercolors, pastels, and acrylics. Collage also found its way across my work table.
Each piece has been a struggle - with the medium, my vision and my skills vying for control. In the end I believe we’ve created images worth looking at, thinking about and enjoying.
Evidently my muse has been pleased with our efforts because she keeps returning with inspiration. Lately she’s been whispering “Icarus” in my ear.
My name is Michael Paul.
