About
The Annual Chalk Drawing Competition will be held Saturday, October 8th to kick off our Streets Festival as a part of the Red Rock Arts Festival. Applications come out at the beginning of September and individuals or teams of up to 5 people submit a proposal to be approved by the Moab Arts staff. Applications must be submitted in advance and we have a kids and an adult category to encourage people of all ages to participate. The competition this year will take place out front of the MARC on County Seat St. Winners are chosen via a public vote. Registration is $10 and chalk pastels are provided. Prizes include various goodies from local businesses as well as getting a shout out at our Red Rock Arts Street Festival.
