Samantha Zim

Samantha Zim, an illustrator and painter based in Moab, is Gallery Moab's November Guest Artist. Her work takes an impressionistic approach to the vivid landscapes of Southwest Utah. Samantha studied medical illustration at the Cleveland institute of Art which informs her detailed approach to natural subjects. She primarily uses watercolor and graphite and works both plein air and in the studio from her own source photography. Samantha was the 2020 Artist in the Park for the Southeast Utah Group of National Parks.
