• Video - Minimum: 0, Maximum: 2

• Total Media - Minimum: 3, Maximum: 9

 

INFORMATI0N

Moab Arts is calling for Public Art Proposals to be installed in the Spring of 2026.

This call includes requests for designs for a Dark Sky Mural to be installed in the City of Moab; location for this mural is TBD, if interested in submitting a design please reach out to our staff for more information or learn more about the Dark Sky initiative by visiting https://www.moabcity.gov/560/Moab-Dark-Skies.  Funding for all projects, including the Dark Sky Mural, of up to $15,000, is available. Public art project proposals accepted include but are not limited to murals, performances, mosaics, socially engaged art, and sculpture.

APPROVED MURAL LOCATIONS: 

Site locations are to be determined at this time. If you own, work with, or are aware of a business or site location in town that is interested in hosting a mural or piece of public art, please have them reach out to us at marcadmin@moabcity.gov or 435-259-6272.

APPLICATION WORKSHOP 

There will be a free workshop on applying for public art funds held at the Moab Arts Center on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at 6 p.m. drop ins welcome or RSVP here.

​PROJECT TIMELINE

Applications Accepted Starting: October 1, 2025

Applications Due: November 16, 2025 by 11:59 p.m.

Applicants Notified by: January, 2026

Work must be completed by: May 31, 2026
