Paper Flowers: Chiyogami Cherry Blossoms

Workshop Description:

Join Margot to continue to make paper flowers, this class will focus on cherry blossoms! Fanciful cherry blossoms bloom from stems rather than branches in this playful centerpiece. The soft Wrinkle Pleated petals play off of the graphic floral patterned leaves. We'd love to see these perched on a windowsill as well. Inspired by chiyogami/yuzen Japanese patterns.

Instructor Bio:

I am a Moab local and have been creating paper flowers for over a decade now. I have always loved flowers and creating art, but I realized a long time ago I am not a great painter or drawer, so I looked for ways to create without using those two mediums and the art of paper flowers stuck. I use the paper flowers in my house and for gifts as bouquets or on wrapped presents. I see ideas and inspiration all over the desert and the world. I look…
