Growing up immersed in the rhythms of cattle and horses shaped not just my perspective, but my soul.

Growing up immersed in the rhythms of cattle and horses shaped not just my perspective, but my soul. The seasonal cycles, the dust and thunder of hooves, the wide sky—these patterns etched themselves into my memory like songs, full of texture and color. They inform the heart of my work. When I paint, I hope to invite you into that world: to feel the grit of the desert, the whisper of prairie wind, the solitude and camaraderie of frontier life. Every piece is more than an image; it's an open-ended story waiting for your voice to complete it.

My love for art began early thanks to a local painter, but life had other plans. From Southern Utah University to serving in the Army—including a tour in Vietnam—raising a family took precedence. It wasn't until later, while working and living on the White Mountain Apache Indian reservation, that painting called me back. Those years profoundly deepened my appreciation for culture and history. I hope my admiration for Native American heritage adds meaning and reverence to my work, offering viewers a deeper glimpse into both the past and present spirit of this land.
