The Sundry

Hand-carved ceramics, translate rotational botanical forms into vessels to support ritual and presence.

Born in Moab and shaped by an artist mother and a miner father, Annie Dalton creates work rooted in material, process, and place. Drawing inspiration from the patterns of the natural world, she explores the meeting point between organic beauty and quiet structure. Her practice centers on functional art—objects made to be used, lived with, and returned to daily. For this Art Walk, Annie presents new paintings and ceramics inspired by the geological strata and plant life of the Colorado Plateau. Her paintings, on view at Sotheby’s, reflect the layered rhythms of the Moab landscape. Her hand-carved functional ceramics, featured at The Sundry, translate rotational botanical forms into vessels designed to support everyday ritual and presence.
