Block Printing for the Soul

Make a linoleum block print featuring the imagery of your choosing! Students will draw designs, then carve linoleum blocks that can be used to print on paper or fabric. inspiration for designs can come from your imagination, mythology, dreams, or whatever you’d like! All materials provided, but you can bring T-shirts or fabric if you'd like to print on that instead of paper.

Class date/time: 03/11 from 5:30-8:30

Class size/age: Ages 13+, 10 person max

Class cost: $35.

Instructor Bio: Bella Freedman grew up on the big island, Hawaii and has enjoyed creating art since childhood. she studied philosophy at the University of Hawaii then spent several years living as a hermit during which time she began making ceramics professionally. currently she resides in Moab and where she makes prints, pottery, naturally tanned sheepskins, and jewelry.
